How to Mention a Teammate

In this article we take you through how to mention a teammate in a ticket/case note.

ReplyDesk allows you to mention a teammate directly within a ticket. This feature is useful for drawing a teammate’s attention to a specific ticket or issue. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Open the Ticket: Navigate to your inbox and open the correct ticket.

  2. Select the Note Tab: You’ll find this near the bottom of the ticket window.

  3. Mention the Teammate: Begin typing the ‘@’ symbol followed by your teammate’s name. As you type, a dropdown list with matching names will appear. Select the correct teammate from this list.

  4. Add the Note: After selecting the teammate, continue typing the rest of your note. Once done, click on ‘Add Note’.

Your teammate will be notified about the mention both via email and in their ReplyDesk notification center. This way, they won’t miss any important updates or tasks.
