If you are ever replying to a message and your reply turns red after attempting to send it then chances are you were the victim of a sending error. We will show you how to identify the error, locate the cause, and troubleshoot, if necessary.

Identifying a Red Message Error

There are two sure ways to tell you are suffering from a red message error and that your message has not sent. The first is the color of the message bubble itself. If there is an error the message will have a red bubble, as opposed to a normal blue bubble. The second clue can be found in the timestamp below the message bubble. If this too is red, this is a further indication of a message error.

Locating the Cause of the Error

When you receive a Red Message Error you will also get an exclamation point warning symbol next to the timestamp. Hovering over the timestamp will give you more information regarding the nature of the error.

If there is no message when you hover over the icon, this indicates an eBay API error. These will most likely resolve themselves in a few moments by themselves. If you see an IAF Token Supplied is Expired error, move to the next step.

Troubleshooting an IAF Token Error

If you have an IAF Token Supplied is Expired error than you need to ReSync your eBay account. To do this, go to the eBay Integration Screen and use the ReSync button, located in the Actions column. This should resolve the issue. If the issue persists, please contact support using the Contact Us button in your platform.
